Welcome, my name is Jerod Willis a Detroit-based writer, director, producer, cinematographer, Teacher, Festival CURATOR, Creative director and founder of the media collective Mission Detroit. From a young age I had a deep connection to the medium of film. In my journey of pressing my passion my love has only grown deeper for cinema. I hope that through my work I am able to inspire others. I strive to build long lasting connections not only with my audience But crew members, clients, fellow filmmakers and my students. The fuel that burns my fire is not the recognition that comes with the work but the process of creating something that will last the test of time.
